‘Love Your Sister’ is a million-strong village of everyday Aussies committed to vanquishing all cancers with hard science.
It started with an insane dare. Co-Founder Connie Johnson dared her younger brother, actor Samuel Johnson to unicycle around the country in the face of her terminal diagnosis with breast cancer. Their aim? To remind every mum in the land to check their boobs.
Love Your Sister proudly passes on every individual donation to scientific research.
Samuel Johnson has been a good friend to Mat, helping him to find ways to sustain his volunteer activities over the years.
Insurance House approached us in 2019 with the idea of becoming a charity partner and supporting us into the future. Their company values align with those of Free 3D Hands and we have gotten to know many of the team. They began in rural NSW and have now expanded Australia wide. Insurance House continue to support us in many ways including business services and facilitating corporate connections. They are a down to earth and caring company whose collaborative ideas will allow some exciting future opportunities.
AMP CAMP is a unique camping program for Australian Youth (ages 12 – 18) living with limb difference.
The program brings youth from all over Australia to a camp facility on the outer edge of Sydney NSW to share in a peer experience that breaks down the isolation of their difference. The camp introduces them to a whole new and empowered world of independence through community. Mat Bowtell, founder of Free 3D Hands is proud to have volunteered during AMP Camp over the last two years. Next Year will be the 10th Anniversary of AMP Camp, so make sure you're a part of it! 🙂
Kirkhope Aviation are one of our earliest supporters. Their business is based out of Moorabbin Airport and they operate outback air tours and corporate charters. Their Chief Pilot Tony Kirkhope visited our factory at the beginning of our journey and has remained a generous supporter to this day. He continues to come up with ways for Kirkhope Aviation to raise money for Free 3D Hands and we are extremely grateful for his generosity.
